Wild Angels Feral Cat Program

Wild Angels Feral Cat Program is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of feral cats. As an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit, our main objective is to support feral cat colonies by collecting food donations, raising awareness about the importance of Trap Neuter Vaccinate Return (TNVR), and providing resources on how to maintain a healthy feral cat colony. Our primary goal is to reduce the overpopulation of feral cats while improving their quality of life by providing them with proper nutrition. We also provide guidance to individuals on how to establish and sustain healthy colonies. We strongly believe in promoting compassion and collaboration in our efforts to assist feral cats.

Please note that we are not a shelter or rescue organization, and we do not facilitate the intake or adoption of cats.

Just because you can't touch them, doesn't mean you can't love them.

Donate

Our current focus is on gathering both dry and canned cat food donations. These donations play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of the feral cats. Your contributions will make a significant difference in providing nourishment and improving the lives of these feral feline populations. Thank you for considering supporting our cause.

TNR & Colony Maintainance

Trap-Neuter (or spay)-Return (TNR) programs have shown significant success in managing cat overpopulation while also ensuring the welfare of the cats involved. By spaying or neutering feral cats and returning them to their colonies, TNR programs prevent further breeding, reducing the population over time. Additionally, providing medical care such as vaccinations, deworming, and flea/tick treatment improves the overall health of the colony.

The practice of ear-tipping, where a small portion of the cat's ear is surgically removed while under anesthesia, is a widely accepted method to identify cats that have been through a TNR program. This helps prevent unnecessary trapping and surgery in the future.

Furthermore, the option to rehome cats that are deemed suitable for indoor living or kittens that can be socialized provides additional avenues to reduce the number of feral cats while giving some individuals the chance for a better life in a home environment.

TNR programs offer a compassionate and effective approach to managing feral cat populations, promoting both the well-being of the cats and the communities they inhabit.

A Message From A Feral Cat

In the cold grip of winter's frost or the sweltering heat of summer's blaze, you stand steadfast, offering us sustenance and shelter. Through rain and sleet, snow, and scorching temperatures, your generosity knows no bounds.

When the icy winds bite through our fur and the hunger gnaws at our bellies, it is your kindness that warms our souls. You brave the elements to ensure that we have food to eat and a refuge from the harshness of the world.

In the darkest nights and the bleakest days, you are our guiding light, our beacon of hope amidst the storm. Your compassion shines through, a ray of warmth in an otherwise cold and unforgiving world.

We may be feral, creatures of the wild, but your care and generosity remind us that humanity still exists, even in the most unlikely of places.

With heartfelt gratitude,

The Feral Cats
